In the first half of my working life, I was a vet tech and horse trainer 🐶🦜🐴 But after a spank-me-hard-it-was-bad back injury in my late 20s, I flipped the script.

And so begins my pro word nerd phase ✍️ After writing copy for Chewy.com (and too many freelance clients to count), I became addicted to the psychology behind content marketing and consulted for tons of B2B and B2C companies.

Everything was great (alright, so maybe everything was okay) until I had my first "dark night of the soul" in 2019 and realized that I was drunk and miserable ALL of the time 🙃

I finally figured out a way to get sober that DIDN'T suck my soul dry, and now here I am, sharing my experience, strength, and hope with you on Medium.
